Director of Delivery

Overview:

OneMethod is searching for a top tier Director of Delivery, someone who will own how work moves through OneMethod, from kick off to completion and everything in between. This role is designed for those that thrive on solving complex challenges, building great relationships across teams, and optimizing finances + operations.

As our Director of Delivery, you’ll bring a holistic, strategic approach to the everyday, marrying operational excellence with creative thinking. You’ll establish delivery success benchmarks alongside other team leaders, push our processes forward, and keep everything on track. Our ideal candidate has been in the project management world for at least a decade, with five (or more) years building/leading high-performing teams.

What you’ll do

• Own overall agency delivery, ensuring our work is on brief, on time, on budget, and on point.
• Lead, mentor and grow our project management team, building the skills, standards and confidence required to deliver increasingly ambitious work.
• Serve as the connective tissue across the agency, bringing Creative, Strategy, Account, Production and Finance together to make better decisions, faster.
• Build, implement and continuously improve how we work — from briefing and scoping through resourcing, production and delivery.
• Keep a close eye on the business of delivery, partnering with agency leadership to improve forecasting, utilization, project profitability and resource planning.
• See around corners, identifying project, resource, financial and relationship risks before they become problems.
• Create clarity when things get complicated, helping teams navigate competing priorities, changing scopes, difficult conversations and ambitious timelines.
• Know when process helps and when it gets in the way, introducing the right amount of structure without slowing down the work or the people making it.
• Raise the bar for delivery across OneMethod, establishing clear benchmarks and helping teams understand what great looks like.
• Help shape our culture, setting the tone for what it means to deliver with ambition, accountability, kindness and OneMethod's stubborn standards.

What we’re looking for

• A program management pro: 10+ years’ experience (5+ leading sizable teams).
• Deep knowledge of project/program management (agency, digital, or integrated environments a big plus).
• The right mix of big-picture vision and detail obsession, able to zoom in/out as required.
• A habit of communicating clearly, listening actively, and bringing people together - especially when things get tricky.
• Passion for both creative and operational excellence; curious, optimistic, and undaunted by change or ambiguity.
• A radar for problems before they materialize and a sharp eye for improvement - from workflow to interpersonal dynamics.
• Emotional intelligence and self-awareness that power productive, low-ego relationships
• An entrepreneurial mindset with a bias for action and ownership - comfortable making hard calls, taking action, and learning all the time.
• A healthy skepticism of process for process's sake.
